You have choices and decisions to make about how you want to quit using 7-OH and feel well again.
How much or little can you tolerate withdrawal to get there ?
To help you find your own best solution we may ask questions such as;
How much 7-OH you are using regularly and for how long you have been using ?
Do you have other painful medical and/or psychologic conditions ?
Would you prefer to do this at home or go to a detox (withdrawal management and stabilization facility) ?
Would you prefer to transition gradually over a number of days off 7-OH and on to a medication such as buprenorphine or suboxone gradually ?
(Microdosing to avoid precipitated withdrawal)
Or would you prefer an abrupt quitting of 7-OH, enduring a waiting period in withdrawal (with some medications to help decrease the discomfort) and then a "rescue" with a medication such a buprenorphine or suboxone ?
(Feeling some discomfort then rescue and relief)
We also have other medications to treat the withdrawal symptoms and help you feel better as you transition off these 7-OH products.
Each person is unique. Your feelings, experiences, and life circumstances are important to your finding a successful recovery.
We will work with you to try any medically reasonable approach that fits your situation.
